Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
All ART Therapy sessions are 90 minutes in length. A consultation needs to occur prior to any ART Therapy sessions to ensure it is an appropriate therapeutic fit.

Accelerated resolution therapy (ART) is an evidenced based form of psychotherapy that utilizes back and forth Eye Movements. It is not the same as EMDR. It is shown to have rapid results, usually within 1-5 sessions. It is helpful in such areas (but not limited to) trauma, OCD, anxiety, depression, phobias, addiction, victimization, poor self image, abuse, relationship issues, infidelity, grief, job related issues, and many other mental health and physical health conditions. The client is always in control, while Kaylie Rodriguez guides the therapeutic process. Although the visualizations can be painful, the therapy moves rapidly and shifts the client from the place of being stuck, and into the place of growth and positive change. ART Therapists will commonly say "keep the knowledge, lose the pain."

The process is very straightforward, using relaxing Eye Movements and a technique called Voluntary Memory/Image Replacement to change the way in which the negative images are stored in the brain. A goal of ART is that in experiencing the therapy, you may find that you connect pieces of information that are already stored in your memory to help you resolve your issues. The brain, while focused on a problem and concurrently using Eye Movements, makes new connections with a person’s strengths and problem-solving abilities. The brain will naturally know what to do. ART works to reprogram the way in which distressing images and memories are stored in the brain so they no longer trigger strong physical and emotional reactions. The treatment is grounded, and the end result is that traumas and difficult life experiences will no longer trigger strong emotions or physical reactions. Through the therapeutic process, clients do not even have to talk about their traumas or difficult life experiences with the therapist to achieve recovery.
